A Trip from Chennai to Majestic Guwahati to Experience New Culture

Guwahati is a place of extraordinary natural beauty and also one with a deep historical past. I decided to journey to the location on IndiGo from Chennai and booked tickets using the carrier’s online booking system. During my three day period in the city I was going to visit its historical places and various heritage sites.

Most Chennai Guwahati IndiGo flights last two hours and fifty minutes. My journey on the carrier was comfortable and during the period on board I enjoyed meals. At the airport, I took a cab to reach my accommodation.

My Accommodation Was a Lovely Three Star Hotel

I stayed in the lovely Guwahati Address, which is a majestic three star hotel situated near Guwahati Zoo. I had opted for a deluxe room which has a very ethnic touch in its ambience. I was able to enjoy plush bedding, television, air conditioner, fridge etc. The hotel staffs were very friendly and looked into my every interest.

The hotel has a multi-cuisine restaurant, coffee shop and bar. Its modern busies center makes it easy to conduct meeting conference and official gatherings. It has all latest equipment for carrying out official activities. Through the hotel’s travel desk, guests can enjoy sightseeing tours of the city.

There is also a banquet hall where celebratory events and buffet food service is conducted. Other guest facilities are room service and laundry.

Visiting Fancy Bazaar and Pan Market

I took a hotel cab to reach the famous Fancy Bazaar, which is a beautiful line up of shops that sell the most attractive items at very competitive prices. The prices here range are low, enabling you to get quite a variety of products at a real bargain. It is Guwahati’s oldest marketplace and one where you can easily buy branded items as well as wholesale products.

I then took a cab to visit the equally famous Pan Market. This market is filled with all kinds of products, so if you have been looking for a place where you can buy a variety of things at the same time, in low price, this is where you should come. It’s a very crowded market and a single day might not be enough.

After completing my shopping I came back to the hotel to pack for the return journey.
